He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Smith and Anna Smith (Jennings); and his brother Duane Smith. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith (Williams); his children, Margo R. Smith-Baratta (Stephen G. Baratta) of Bethlehem, Edward Kemp (Carol) of West Bangor and Dean Kemp (Tammy) of Pen Argyl; his grandchildren, Nico Baratta (Kellie McGlynn-Baratta), Tyler Kemp and Carson Kemp; his sister Anna Albert of Bangor; and his sister-in-law Dolores Smith of South Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
