It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine James of Peckville, Pennsylvania, born in Olyphant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel James; her parents, James McCarthy and Rosemary McMahon McCarthy; her daughter Mary; and her siblings, Jean Marie Delosky and PJ McCarthy.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelley Joseph; and her siblings-in-law, Samuel Delosky and Dolores McCarthy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She volunteered as a driver for the American Cancer Society.
