He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lewan and Emma Zander Lewan; and his siblings, Paul and Heddy. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ofcharsky Lewan; his caregivers, Abra, Judy and Allysa; his children, Earl Jr. (Diane), Cynthia Kausmeyer (Gary) and Deborah Busteed (Kevin); his grandchildren, Amy Pusateri, Kristin Lewan, Gary Kausmeyer Jr., Susan Ann Garrity, Laurie and Kevin; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Rocco, Gavin, Mateo and Vivienne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
