It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Attilio Louis Vergari of Peckville, Pennsylvania, born in Jessup, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrico Vergari and Teresa Fanucci Vergari; his wife Alice Generotti; his children, David and Teresa; his great grandchild Natalie; and his siblings, Peter, Rose and Jean.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bernie; his son Joseph Loftus-Vergari (Cindy) of Mt Top; his son-in-law Louis M. Margotta Jr. of Jessup; his grandchildren, Dr. Megan Velo-Zorzi (Michael Mt Top), Jeffery Loftus-Vergari (Josiana Cetta), Seth Loftus-Vergari (Lauren), Louis J. Margotta (Carla Archbald), Jessica Forgione (Rocco Jessup) and James Margotta (Catherine Peckville); and his great grandchildren, Miles, Ava, Ethan, Benjamin, Charlotte, Nina, Siena, Aria, Rocco Attilio, Matteo and James Daniel.
