With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Rutledge of Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, born in Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl C. Rutledge; her parents, Matt Jackson and Lottie Collett Jackson; and her siblings, Darby Jackson and Mae Jackson.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Rutledge of Peach Bottom, PA, James Rutledge of Beverly Hills, FL, Gene Rutledge of Mount Joy, PA, Charlene Jones of Conowingo, MD and Diana Valanty of Manheim, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
