She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Funderwhite and Frances Funderwhite (Evans); her husband Paul Hannum; and her brothers, Edwin and Herbert Funderwhite.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hannum (James O'Kussick) and Teresa Hannum (H. Thomas Kirk); her grandson Travis Boyle; and her sister Martha Roeder. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.

“What a wonderful person and neighbor who will be sorely missed by our family and the community. Sara was a great cook! When the Hannums moved to Lancaster County and fixed up the farmhouse, her personally designed kitchen was the envy of everyone who saw it with its huge multi-burner stove, a great pantry and plenty of space. Sara always offered her guests something homemade to eat and was known for her chocolate cake. I loved Sara's sense of humor, kindness, and family support. -Lisa Graybeal”
