She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton E. Nellessen and Evelyn M. Nellessen (Chambers); and her husband Elwood E. Barnes, Jr.. She is survived by: her granddaughter Hallmark; her children, Tami (Richard Wilkey) of East Earl, Elwood E., III (Robin Barnes) of Ephrata and Jennifer (Timothy Long) of Rising Sun, MD.; her grandchildren, Bobby, Cheyenne, Kelly and Gage; her great grandchildren, Blayton and Hazel; her sister Carol Mahoney; and her pet Roxie.
