She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Donald Diffenderfer; her children, Diane (Randi Axelrod, MD) and Thomas (Rosie); and her sister-in-law Lenore S. Caldwell. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
