It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Barvitskie of Paxinos, Pennsylvania, born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kelly and Dorothy Kelly (Robel); her husband David Barvitskie; her siblings, Dorothy Buffington (Donald) and Kenneth Kelly; her niece Susanne Kelly-Mayton; and her nephew Adam Kelly.

She is survived by: her son Michael Barvitskie (Nichole); her grandchildren, Alison Barvitskie and Mason Barvitskie; and her brother Bernard Kelly (Pat). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
