He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Russell; his children, Brenda Posey, Joy Whisler (Gene Whisler) and William J Russell Jr. Alongside of Salisburyville; his grandchildren, Tamara Posey, Trisha Posey, Bria Posey, Ashley Posey, Jerry Scarborough Jr. (Jordan Scarborough), Zach Scarborough, Owen Russell, Ryan Russell and Madisyn Russell; his great grandchildren, Kylar Scarborough, Kameron Scarborough, Kohen Scarborough, Heather Bills, Tommy Bills, Gabby Scarborough, Nevaeh Scarborough and Xander Santos; and his sister Betsy Redifer. He is also survived by his children and wife.
