It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Lewis Hammond Jr. in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Lewis Hammond, Sr. and Lorelei Carr Butler; his brothers, Rodney Hammond and Byron Hammond; and his grandmother Florence Hammond.

He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Pernell of Parkesburg, Sydney Proctor of Keith, III. and Judy Johnson of Lancaster; and his friend Eddie Murray.

COVID protocol will be moderately observed.
