She was predeceased by: her husband W. James McEwing Sr.; her parents, Walter Mowrey and Anna McNally Mowrey; and her sister Elizabeth "Bib" Savage. She is survived by: her sons, W. James McEwing (Beth) of Atglen, PA, David (Valerie) of Parkesburg and John McEwing of Christiana, PA; and her sisters, Mary Tennant of Morgantown, Florence "Kip" Hager of Florida and Anna Baker of Parkesburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Parkesburg.
