He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Wallace MacHenry and Myrtle Elizabeth MacHenry (Uganst); his spouse Gale MacHenry (Hibbard); his son Robert G. MacHenry Jr.; and his brothers, Lew Wallace MacHenry, Jr. and C. William MacHenry.

He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Voorhees (Paul) of Downingtown; and his grandsons, Andrew, Robert (Fabiola) and Daniel.
