He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar E. Lonas and Catherine E. Lonas (Golightly); his wife Geraldine N. Lonas; and his siblings, Catherine Marsh, Barbara Mellinger, Peggy Simms, Olin Lonas, Bobby Lonas and Buck Lonas.
He is survived by: his close friend Sharon A. Porter; his sons, Robert E. Yeagley (Pauline) of Oxford, PA and Norman F. Lonas Jr. (Susan) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Melissa Jenkins (Alex), Nikki Garress (Charles), Steffanie Truitt (John) and Kayla Lonas; his great grandchildren, Lily, Emmett, Wyatt, Tucker and Hadley; his sister Betty Lawrence; and his pets, Piston, Roxy, Trixie and Winter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home (434 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
