He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit James Kimbro and Merlyn Thoinette Erickson; and his siblings, Karen Shaw, Kim Wheeler, Kevin Kimbro and Keith Erickson.
He is survived by: his close friend Dana Kimbro; and his children, Joshua A. Kimbro, Christa T. Corum (Dallas), Zachary R. Kimbro and Jessica A. Kimbro. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
