She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert Oatha Slay; her parent Elmira Jason (Ferguson); and her siblings, Ron Jason and Richie Jason. She is survived by: her parent Cordell Jason; her children, Robert Jason Slay, Candace D. Wood, Paul Michael Slay of Tucson Arizona and David Slay of Oxford; her siblings, Linda Diaz and Lois Lambert; and her friend Brenda Powell.
