She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Bernard Gates and Mary Dorothy Baker; her husband Donald S. Taylor Sr.; and her fiancé William Snoots. She is survived by: her children, Donna Taylor (James), Keith Taylor, Karen Smee (John), Sharon Owens (Timothy) and Donald Taylor, Jr. (Tina).
