With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James S. Landis Sr. of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Edith S. "Edie" Seekamp Landis; his parents, John B. Landis and Sophia B. Stauffer Landis; and his siblings, Elizabeth Walker and Frederick E. Landis.

He is survived by: his children, James S. Landis Jr. (Christine Titter) of Parkesburg, Christine L. Thomas (Robert) of Parkesburg, Stephen C. Landis of Glenmoore, PA and Sanjay Rowe of Parkesburg; and his sister Carol Silveri (John) of Parkesburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Point, 700 Main St. Parkesburg.
