He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Geatens and Velma Kathleen Brown Geatens; and his son James Michael Geatens, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Hannum Geatens; his daughter Natasha "Tash" Geatens; his brothers, Danny Geatens of Ranger, GA and Huey Geatens of Ranger, GA; and his nephew James Geatens.
