He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth Friemark; and his nephew Gregory Halter. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Halter (Joan) of Parkesburg, Edward Halter of Parkesburg and Thomas Halter of Parkesburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
