She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert WInecoff and Mildred WInecoff; her brother Robert WInecoff; and the father of her children Charles Lantz. She is survived by: her husband Norman Pickering; her sons, Charles Lantz (Tiffany) and Doug Lantz; her stepdaughter Terri Cummings (Kevin); her sister Patricia McFadden (Tom); her grandchildren, Brent, Ashley, Nathan, Alexander, Emily, Olivia and Caroline; and her great grandchildren, Ada, Knox, Saylor, Juniper and Liam.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Chester County Hospital's Abramson Cancer Center in Elaine's name.
