She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Rice; her parents, Clyde Swisher and Cornelia Swisher (Carroll); and her siblings, Clyde Swisher, Leroy Swisher, Shirley Finkey and Gerald Swisher.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Rice (Mary) of Coatesville, James Rice (Melissa) of Downingtown and Pamela Rice (Tom) of Coatesville; her grandchildren, John Rice, Rachel Cory and Adrian Snyder; and her sister Amy Hoffman (Paul) of Strasburg, PA.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
