He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur M. Ash, Sr. and Helen Hamilton Ash; his son Jeff Ash; and his siblings, Jackie Weaver, Becky Nuse, Shirley Ash and Chester Ash.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mellinger Ash; his pet Mittens; his children, Richard Ash of Port Orange and Audrey Procyson (Jim) of Confluence, PA; his grandsons, Chad Perry (Diana) of Lititz, PA and Corbin Perry (Rachel) of Compass, PA; his great grandchildren, Cole, Caleb, Colin and Maggie; and his sisters, Peggy Redmond of Middletown, MD and Patsy Chilla of Downingtown, PA..
