He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. "Boss" Bowser and Helen C. Bowser (Koch); his wife Marilyn L. Bowser (Custer); his grandson William Kelly; and his siblings, Dennis Bowser, Walter O. Bowser, Ellen C. Guisewite and Caroline Eaker.
He is survived by: his children, Loren D. "Butch" Bowser, Jr. (Michelle) of Emlenton, PA, April M. Gibson (Marvin "Skip") of Knox, Amy R. Charney (David) of Huey, Jamie K. Myers (John "Bob") of Parker and Kelly S. Young (J. P.) of Emlenton; his grandchildren, Zach Williams, Corey Williams, Bailey Williams, Justin Charney, Josh Charney, Kolby Eaker, Emily Smith, Summer Fawn Young and Colt Young; and his great grandchildren, Kason Patrick, Carter Charney, Jacob Charney and Lyle Eaker.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services (758 Main St, Rimersburg, PA 16248). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
