He was predeceased by: his parents, William Audley and Mary L. Young Gilbert; his wife Janet Faye Clawson; and his siblings, Richard Gilbert, Teresa Bechtold, Shirley Roberts and Mary K. Dilley.
He is survived by: his children, Barry W. Gilbert (Bonnie) of Sligo, Sandy Patterson (Randy) of Sligo and Barb McGuire of Clarion; and his sister Faith Garrett of Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
