Gerre N. Slaugenhoupt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerre N. Slaugenhoupt (Parker, Pennsylvania), born in Sligo, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wagner and Margaret Snyder Wagner; her husband Richard A. Slaughenhoupt; and her son-in-law Don Mahood. She is survived by: her children, Linda Mahood of Parker, Edith Adams (Larry) of Foxburg and Alan Slaughenhoupt of Emlenton; her grandchildren, Maggie Chandler (Rich), Sara Dixon (Steve) and Joshua Slaughenhoupt; her great grandchildren, Ava Chandler and Eric Clinger; and her cousin Joey Ann Mostowy.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Homes, Inc. (201 Wayne Ave, Parker, PA 16049). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Gerre's name may be made to the Foxburg Free Library, Tri County Animal Rescue in Shippenville, or the Charity of their choice.
