He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank Sr. and Alice Bender Baum; his sister Freda Braungard; and his half-brother William F. Baum, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Kauffman Baum; his daughter Brenda L. (Richard Hann) of Wilmington, IL; his grandson Zachary J. Coblentz; his stepgrandson Dustin J. Hann; his siblings, Carol (Thomas Hartley) of New Providence and Robert (Lynn Huenink Baum) of Paradise; and his half-brother Kenneth (Joyce Braungard Kinsey) of Paradise.
