He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maziarka and Mary Anne Maziarka (Frystak). He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Darlington (Tom) and Elizabeth M. Maziarka (José Guerra); his sister Carol Votipka (John); and his grandchildren, Charlie Guerra, Elena Guerra, Tommy Darlington and Brooklyn Darlington.

Donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
