She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irene and Rocco; her sister Elaine Marie Chermol; her husband James Creighton Brennan; and her children, Kevin Paul Seits, Megan Elizabeth Zavawski and Kelli Joy Czajkowski. She was also cherished by her 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pennsylvania Medicine Abramson Cancer Center may be made in memory of Joy.
