He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Joshua; his mother Deborah Wanagel (Manning); his wife Carol Cheney Wanagel; his daughter Jocelyn Wanagel; and his siblings, Walt and Catherine. He was also cherished by his children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
John died peacefully at the home of his son, Joshua, in Berwyn, PA on January 5, 2022 following a long battle with Atypical Parkinson's Disease.
