He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph and Mary Ann Gillespie Brett; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Hara Brett; his sibling Francis Brett; his children, Jennifer Zimmer (Josh) of Downingtown, PA and Brendan Brett (Jen) of West Norriton, PA.; his grandchildren, Piper, Danny Zimmer, Luna and Lydia Brett; his siblings, Mary Ann Wall, Charles Brett (Agnes), Gerard Brett (Jacinta) and Brenden Brett (Kathleen); and his sisters-in-law, Ann and Nancy Brett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
