He was predeceased by: his parents, Cody L. East and Margaret A. East (Beattie); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael and John East; his wife Joan E. East (McCracken); his stepsons, Raymond J. McKenzie (Cheryl), Donald E. McKenzie (Theresa) and James C. McKenzie; his granddaughter Serenity McKenzie; and his nieces and nephews, Tim, Steven East, Christine Bohanon and Patricia East.
