He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles P. Sofia, Sr. and Marie E. Mull; and his niece Gemma Premiro. He is survived by: his wife Noel Sofia; his siblings, Lawrence Sofia, Denise Carpinello (Willie), Sandra Papandrea, Dawn Morris, Brenda Gloris, Joseph Sofia, Michael Sofia, Sharon Mantaski (Bob), Lisa Sofia (David Pulikowski) and Mary Sofia; and his stepsiblings, Sherri Grieco (Benny), Shelly Simms (Alan) and Richard Mull, Jr.. He is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews.
