He was predeceased by: his parents, William Deveney and Geraldine; and his brother William Deveney. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Brian Deveney (Jessica) and Megan Dempsey (Shawn); his grandchildren, Jameson Dempsey and Elinor Deveney; and his siblings, Patricia Renihan, Florence Trinsey (Hank), Carol Irvin (Edwin) and Keith Deveney (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
