She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Butts; her daughter Dawn Burruss; her parents, Louise Mitchell, and Clifford Mitchell, Sr.; her brother Clifford Mitchell, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Cynthia Mitchell and Anitra Mitchell; and her granddaughter Courtney Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Louise, Donna Preston (Calvin) and Elder Dwayne Butts (Paula); her granddaughters, Kristen Buxton-Cericola (Michael Cericola) and Caitlyn Burruss; her great grandchildren, Dymond Cooper and Leilani Cericola; her brothers, Rev. Earl Sr., George and Dennis Mitchell; her siblings-in-law, Virgil, Billy Butts, Mildred Byrd, Lucy Howard, Joyce Mitchell, Gloria Horton and Arnita Butts; and her friends, Mary Ramsey and Theda Tambone. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and god-children.
