She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry W. Hinkle and Velma M. Hinkle (Fry); her brother Harry T. Hinkle; her husband Charles Burns Lighty; and her daughter Cathleen Ann.

She is survived by: her children, James K. Lighty (Gail) of Lake Meade, PA, Elaine L. Robinson (Carl) of Palmyra, Cynthia M. Lighty and Anita M. Lighty of Palmyra; her grandsons, Adam C. Lighty (Kaitlyn) of Camp Hill, PA, Eric L. Lighty (Brittney) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Brian J. Robinson of Palmyra and Matthew A. Robinson of Palmyra; her sister Shirley M. Gross (Carl) of Dover, PA; and her sister-in-law Darlene E. Hinkle (Patterson) of Spring Grove, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
