He was predeceased by: his former wife Geraldine Cascarella; his parents, Walter and Charlotte; and his brother Robert of Vineland, NJ.. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Whitman; his children, Ron Swanson (Lisa), Virginia Kilcran, Elizabeth Swanson (Mike), Jeff Whitman (Lisa), Melodee Whitman and Kristy Norbert (Geoff); and his brother Richard Swanson (Barbara). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
