He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Hill and Rissie Hill (Phipps); and his siblings, Della Rentfrow, Bonnie Michael and Roy Hill.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret H. Hill (Sobolewski); his children, Melanie Hill of Mount Joy and Michael Hill (Loralee) of Germany; and his siblings, Deanie Deitterick, Phyllis Cunningham, Renie Cunningham and John Hill.
