It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Allen Schaeffer of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul V. Schaeffer and Alice Schaeffer (Hower); his son Matthew Allen Schaeffer; and his siblings, Paul, Ina and John Schaeffer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Schaeffer (Condict); his children, Terrie Lee Moore, Eric Ryan Schaeffer, Amy Jo Alivernini, Paul Duvall Robertson, Jarred Scott Schaeffer and Emily Kate Schaeffer; and his siblings, Byron Schaeffer, Tina Whitman and Gary Schaeffer. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
