He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond U. Shirk and Bernice M. Shirk (Hartline); his siblings, Irma Cassel, Michael Shirk, Kenneth Shirk, Joanne Wood, Raymond Shirk, Jr. and Dennis Shirk; and his father-in-law Clair Young.
He is survived by: his wife Debra K. Shirk (Young); his daughters, Jody Michael (Marcus) of Manheim, Janene Jennings (Eric) of Manheim and Jessica Smith (Mark Rettew) of Lititz; and his grandchildren, Tanner Michael, Lauren Michael, Emma Jennings, Cooper Jennings, Riley Smith and Makenna Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Wilson Church of the Brethren (1261 Mt Wilson Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren (1261 Mt Wilson Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042).
