He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerhart and Helen Gerhart (Donmoyer); and his siblings, Rachel Grace Hook, Mary Gerhart, Bill Gerhart, Sallie Furman, Ruth Brinser, Bobby Gerhart, Sr. and Cora Gerhart.
He is survived by: his wife Annette L. Gerhart (Reinfeld); his sons, Steve Gerhart, Jeff Gerhart and Mike Gerhart; his siblings, Ginny Gerhart and Eddie Gerhart; and his grandchildren, Julia, Kevin, Ashlyn, Grant and Lauren. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
