It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Light Wilson Shearer (Palmyra, Pennsylvania), born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Light W. Shearer and Evelyn Shearer (Deemer); and his wife Rita Zug Shearer. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey S. Carper of Harrisburg and Holly S. Mihok (Edward Mihok) of Baltimore; his siblings, Joan Keener, Judy Calibro, Jane Stellar and John Shearer; his grandchildren, Mallory C. Arthur (Seth Arthur), Garrett Carper, Olivia Mihok and Luke Mihok; and his great grandchild Nolan Arthur. He is also survived by his numerous friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren, Hospice of for All Seasons, or the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
