He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Cheyney (Doug) of Palmyra and Heather Paterno (Scott) of Hershey; his brother Dean Fernsler (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Brandon Cheyney, Jack Paterno, Carson Cheyney, PJ Paterno and Sally Paterno. He is also survived by five grand dogs.
