Joan Varano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Varano of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Parker and Katherine Parker (Meenahan). She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" A. Varano; and her children, Patricia Sosnoskie (Charles) of Shamokin, Theresa Davis (Michael) of Palmyra and Gary Varano (Carol) of Harrisburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve (very soon to be 13) great-grandchildren as well as Joan's extended family and caring friends.
