He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Carmoney Floyd and Harold Floyd; his wife Annette W. Floyd; his son David Floyd; and his sister Betty Shaffer.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Floyd (Jill) of Bath, PA. and John Floyd (Janna) of Mexico; his sister Romaine "Rusty" Boyanowski of Mechanicsburg, PA.; and his grandchildren, Anna, Rebekah, Danny, Sam, Heidi, Ben, Emma and Katherine.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (260 E Main St, Middletown, PA 17057). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Middletown Cemetery (675 N Spring St, Middletown, PA 17057).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be donated in James' memory to the Lower Swatara Volunteer Fire Department.
