He was predeceased by: his father John Kowal; and his wife Anna M. Roy. He is survived by: his children, Barbara A. Adams (Butch, Jr.), Robert Roy and John Roy (Karlene Smith); and his grandchildren, Crystal Sourwine, Gennifer Spangler, Veronica Madera, Bobbi-Sue Roy, Odessa Oreo, Adam Roy and Joshua Roy-Morgan. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
