He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Alwine and Mary Alwine (Hoffer); and his siblings, Margaret, James, Georgie, Aaron and Catherine.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Alwine (Gipe); his daughters, Tammy Howard (Ben), Rose MacCulloch (Will), Joanne Alwine and Amy Alwine (Keivan); and his grandchildren, Dustin Valentic, Sarah Blocker, Cali, Keilian and Aaron MacCulloch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
