With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emanuel Scharpf (Palmyra, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Emanuel may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst E. and Augusta E. Scharpf (Peter); and his brother Hans Georg Scharpf. He is survived by: his wife Dian; his children, Renée A. S. Strange (Shannon P.) of Harrisburg and Mark E. Scharpf of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Brittany Star Scharpf and Tyler Patrick Strange; and his sister Vreni Blum of Zurich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
