She was predeceased by: her parents, Rexford Meleen and Betty Putnam (King); her daughter Lorie Benson; her brother R. John Putnam; and her stepfather Herbert Putnam.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd L. Benson; her children, Jane Wenrich (Wayne), Tim Benson and Susan Heller (Todd); and her grandchildren, Ryne Fureman, Tyler Heller, Hunter Heller, TJ Benson, Dolan Fureman, Tristan Benson, Libby Benson and Abigail Heller. She is also survived by eight great grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Noah's Little Ark Preschool.
