He was predeceased by: his parents, Coyle Edgar and Thelma Odean Dubbs Norris; his daughter-in-law Jennifer May Motter Norris; and his brother-in-law Newton Nelson Myers. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Parson Norris; his son Brian Jeffrey Norris (Kathy Landis) of Hummelstown; his grandsons, James Alexander Norris of Hummelstown and Patrick Michael Norris of Hummelstown; and his siblings, James "Jim" Howard Norris (Diane) of Londonderry Village, Janet Louise Stenner (William) of Delaware and Gloria Jean Myers of Hershey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

He taught them how to work hard, and laid the foundation for success in not only their careers, but also their lives.
